“Capriccio” for Cello and Piano: G. Quarenghi

Interesting piece. Hardest one I have played in 6 years. A bit rough around the edges and some downright nasty playing.

Despite the challenges of playing this virtuosic number I think it came out better than expected. Remember, it has been six years since sinking my teeth into hard music. Lol

The last time I played anything resembling this capriccio was in 2016. That number was Suite for solo cello by Cassado. (I am positive I used to play better.)

Check out my podcast episode where the capriccio is featured in part.
